Privacy Policy

At mail.lura.ng ("Lura", "we", "us", "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our users (Sellers) and their customers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our AI Sales Agent platform. The data we collect falls into two main categories:
- Seller Account Data: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing information.
- Customer Interaction Data: When your customers interact with your AI Agent, we collect chat transcripts, captured lead information (such as customer names, emails, and WhatsApp numbers), and basic usage metrics (timestamps, interaction duration).
2. Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Platform Data
If you choose to integrate our services with your Facebook Page or Instagram Professional account, we must request specific permissions from Meta to function properly. We handle this data with strict confidentiality:
- What we collect: We collect your Page-Scoped IDs, public profile names, and the content of the direct messages sent to your connected business pages.
- How we use it: This data is strictly used to allow your customized AI Agent to read incoming messages and generate automated replies on your behalf.
- What we DO NOT do: We do not use your Facebook or Instagram data for advertising, we do not sell it to data brokers, and we do not use your private customer conversations to train public AI models.
3. How We Use Your Data
We strictly use the collected data to operate and improve our services. We use your data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Lura AI platform and dashboard.
- Process transactions and send related billing information.
- Display lead capture information securely within your Seller Dashboard.
- Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
🤖 AI Models & Third-Party Sub-Processors
To provide intelligent conversational capabilities, chat transcripts from your widget are securely transmitted to our trusted Large Language Model (LLM) providers via API.
- No Public Training: We enforce strict API data privacy agreements with our AI providers. Your chat transcripts and product knowledge bases are not used to train public foundational AI models.
- Payment & Email Processors: We use secure third-party services (such as Paystack for billing and Brevo for transactional emails). These providers only receive the specific data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
4. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure database architecture, to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. We retain Seller Account Data and Customer Interaction Data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently purged from our active databases in accordance with our retention schedules.
5. Data Deletion Instructions (Including Meta/Facebook Data)
You have the absolute right to request the deletion of your personal data, including any data collected via Facebook or Instagram integrations. To remove your data from our systems, follow these steps:
- Self-Service Disconnection: You can instantly revoke our access to your Facebook/Instagram accounts by navigating to your Seller Dashboard, clicking "Disconnect Meta," and removing the app from your Facebook Business Integrations menu.
- Account & Data Purge: To permanently delete your entire Lura account, including all trained agents, chat logs, lead data, and billing profiles, simply send an email to privacy@mail.lura.ng with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request and permanently wipe your data within 48 hours.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes via email or an announcement in your dashboard.
